Circle of Friends is a growing network of individuals, professionals and organizations that envisions a world where separation and divorce are perceived as only the ending to a marriage, not the family unit. We believe that the process of separation and divorce can be a new beginning to create opportunities of 1) increased self awareness, 2) positive personal growth, and 3) a venue that strengthens the family unit.

A Note from Founder and CEO,
Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year! The beautiful colors of nature, cooler weather and calming essence of the season is a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of Summer! It is a time of appreciation for the accomplishments we have made in past seasons, daily meditation of the blessings we are presently receiving and gentle comtemplation for the days ahead.
The months of October and November are also navigating us through a time of change. We are preparing for new leadership with the upcoming elections and changing economic conditions. It is a uneasy time in our nation, even more so for families facing separation and divorce.
Our October/November edition of the Circle of Friends newsletter gives practical advice on respecting your emotions during times of change. There is also information on workshops that will help better help you understand how money works and how to place your family in a better financial position. There are tips on preparing for a new career. Our children's section has information on Children's Rights during divorce and a listing of resources available to help them through family changes.
Finally, we also introduce the practice of Reiki and its ability to help heal emotionally through divorce. My journey with separation/divorce began shortly after my first Reiki treatment. As a recipient of Reiki, it helped me spiritually, emotionally and mentally to make the most difficult decision of my life. It made it difficult for me to continue to ignore the condition of my relationship. And, it helped me to find the courage and determination to enter into the unknown and to unconditionally love myself, and my ex-spouse through the process.
Please feel free to download our latest edition at www.mycircleoffriends.org. If you have any questions regarding your own separation or divorce, please feel free to send us a note at info@mycircleoffriends.org. Until next time, liive life fully and love every moment!
